This event is independently organized and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government entity unless expressly stated. Participation in tournaments, contests, and activities does not guarantee prizes, awards, or outcomes. No prizes will be awarded this is all pure fun!
The event host reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual for safety, policy violations, or behavior deemed harmful to participants, staff, vendors, or property.
By attending, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all published event policies.
Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket, registering, or attending Memorial Day Fun in New Madrid, MO, you agree to the following terms:
1. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Attendance and participation in all activities (including but not limited to tournaments, walking events, children’s activities, food consumption, and recreational activities) are voluntary. Participants assume all risks associated with attendance. The event host, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, venue providers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, theft, damage, or accident that may occur during or related to this event.
2. Food & Vendor Disclaimer
Food may be prepared by independent vendors, caterers, or restaurants. The event host is not responsible for food preparation, allergens, foodborne illness, quality, or service concerns. If food is catered or provided by a restaurant, attendees must contact the respective caterer or restaurant directly to address any issues or concerns.
3. Event Changes
Event schedule, activities, locations, or vendors may change due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances. The host reserves the right to modify programming as necessary.
4. Photography & Media Release
By attending, you grant permission for event photography or video footage to be used for promotional and marketing purposes unless you submit a written opt-out request prior to the event.
5. Conduct
This is a family-friendly event. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal without refund.
Minor Participation Waiver & Parental Consent
For participants under the age of 18:
By registering or allowing a minor to attend and/or participate in Memorial Day Fun in New Madrid, MO, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following:
Parental Consent
I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant and grant permission for my child to attend and participate in event activities, including but not limited to Kids Fun Day activities, games, recreational events, tournaments, and the Memorial Walk.
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in recreational activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, equipment use, and general outdoor activity risks. I voluntarily assume all risks on behalf of the minor.
Release of Liability
I release and hold harmless the event host, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, venue providers, and affiliates from any claims, injuries, damages, or liabilities arising from the minor’s participation in the event.
Medical Authorization
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize event staff or emergency responders to secure appropriate medical treatment for the minor. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
Supervision
Parents/guardians remain responsible for the supervision of their minor children unless explicitly stated that an activity is staffed and monitored. This event does not provide full-time childcare services.
By completing registration and/or attending this event, I acknowledge that I have read and agreed to this Minor Participation Waiver.
